Ruby studied classical portraiture for 3 years at Charles H. Cecil Studios in Florence, Italy, where she learned drawing and painting from life. In Florence she exhibited at Villa Palmerino and Volume, Santo Spirito.

Ruby now works in London, UK, and in her work explores the crossover between realism and surrealism. She has exhibited at The Holy Art, Dalston, and Boomer Gallery, London Bridge.
